A Panther-generated "Defense Bulletin, press release" in which a number of cases of police brutality and recklessness are cited. These are instances of the killing of unarmed black men, as well as outrages on Mexican Americans, students sitting in, protesting lack of democracy on the campus, and a young black man and a young white man stopped and detained for no reason whatsoever. Quickly gotten up news sheets like this were put together in between issues of the Panther Paper to keep people in the community aware of what was going on.
